The
Fab Four are probably the most famous of all the tribute bands. Touring year round and preforming to large crowds in auditoriums bigger than some professional bands
The Fab Four is the 3rd show of season two of
AXS TV Worlds Greatest Tribute Bands and hosted By
Katie Daryl. The tickets for this show were sold out weeks ago and the line to get in started early. The small room at the Roxy filled up fast with the crowd around the stage very tight. Everyone wanted to get up close to see the show. There was a buzz in the air that was not there for the first two show. Everyone was excited to see The Fab Four and to hear their favorite Beatles songs.
When the band hit the stage they were in trendy Mod suites that the Beatles wore in the early sixty's They opened with I Want To Hold Your Hand. From where I was standing it was hard to tell who was singing louder, The Fab Four or the audience. For the next 40 minutes they play many of The Beatles early hits like All My Loven, Listen and A Hard Days Night.
After the the commercial break, The Fab Four returned in their Sgt Pepper costumes and continuing with Sgt Peppers Lone Hearts Club Band, Strawberry Fields, and a Day in the Life. Normally the show is only 60 minutes, but tonight, we got and extra 30 minutes of the Fab Four.
After the second commercial break, the band returned in the look that I think most people remember the most. John with long hair and his trademark glasses, Paul clean cut and wearing a vest, George in his jeans, jacket and tie and Ringo looking like Ringo. They continued songs from the White album, Abby Road, and Let it Be.
