James Michael Music Photography: AXS TV Worlds Greatest Tribute Bands - Gun N' Roses

As season 2 continues on AXS TV's Worlds Greatest Tribute Bands and hosted by Katie Daryl, I was wondering if Guns 4 Roses was going to be able to top last weeks show by the Fab Four. When the doors open at 7:00 PM, I already had my spot staked out for the show and I am able to watch the crowd make its way to the stage. I figured this was going to be a rowdier crowd from last week and I was not disappointed.

I was ready for loud scrappy band to come out and tear it up. When the curtain went up, the band broke into Welcome to the Jungle. Jason, Izzy Axl, looking and sounding just like the real Axl Rose and on time! took over the stage. Eamonn, Izzy Slash with his long curly hair, top hat and cigarette hanging from his mouth powered through the guatar rifs with style and bravado as if he were the real Slash. Who knows, It might have been him. Slash will show up to almost any concert in town.

Again it was hard to tell who was singing louder, Izzy Axl or the crowd. One thing for sure, the band was louder and as close as I was standing to the stage, I should have brought ear plugs.

For the first set, Guns 4 Roses covered Welcome to the Jungle, Mr. Brownstone, Live and Let Die, Sweet Child O' Mine, Knockin On Heaven's Door, Night Train, and Dont Cry.

The second set was equally impressive with Guns 4 Roses covering November Rain, Paradise City and finishing the night with You Could Be Mine.

This was another great tribute band. Jason and Eamonn nailed their two counter parts. The rest of the band was tight and sounded as good as the real deal.
